Network
To assure our clients the most effective data routing and connectivity to achieve better transfer rate, the Data-Center uses redundant optical fiber connections for connectivity with bandwidth providers (Abovenet - Global Crossing - Internap - Level 3 - PCCW - Telia - Verizon - Voxel - Telecom - Qwest - Savvis - XO - RMIX - with Comcast Peering - Peering with private providers).
Connectivity
Datacenters operate with a smart network architecture helping us to provide faster and redundant access to all our customers. All fiber optic connections in an architecture to provide redundancy and connectivity to major bandwidth suppliers and the intelligent routing ensures fast and high quality services without interruption. The continuous network stability and performance monitoring (every 60 seconds) ensures an immediate resolution in case problems arise.
Power
Flexible and upgradeable solutions provide a constant and uninterrupted energy and power to all servers. In case of power interruption the UPS battery systems are activated instantly until the diesel power generator becomes operational.
Security
It is not allowed public access to the building unless personally escorted by authorized staff. There are several checkpoints and security 24 hours, with access by proximity card readers and IP video monitoring.
Fire Suppression
VESDA smoke detectors modules and dual-action dry pipe fire suppression modules prevent emergencies before the fire started. These detectors are installed strategically both above and below the raised flooring to detect a possible fire with the change of temperature and prevent it early. In case of early detection, the system disconnects the power from the grid and switch it to UPS system. The fire prevention system is monitored 24/7 by qualified personnel.
Cooling
The air distribution pipes in the ceiling, constructed with a previous analysis of airflow for optimum distribution and cooling with redundant air conditioners units, keep the operating environment at 70 degrees within 45% humidity with variation of no more than 4 degrees to temperature and 4% humidity. These parameters are maintained with strict control on regular basis using infrared cameras to detect and correct potential problems.
